Game Overview

Rust Raiders is a deploy-and-extract survival mode where you move between Outpost, raids, and your personal bunker. Use this overview to get started, learn the core loop, and keep every main chat command in one place.

How to get started

Rust Raiders is focused on deploying into raids, extracting with loot, upgrading your bunker, and building progress through tasks. Start in Outpost, learn the basics from Wayfinder, then use the guide and commands below whenever you need to move, sell, bank, or queue for another raid.

Talk to Wayfinder in Outpost. Pick up starter tasks, learn what to extract, and use tasks as your early progression path.
Open the guide with /guide or /g. The guide gives fast access to Outpost, your bunker, the bank, and the raid menu.
Deploy with /raid or /r. Choose a raid target, enter the map, complete your objective, and extract before you lose your run.
Sell and secure your money. Use /sell, /s, or the Sell NPC for loot, then use /bank to deposit money safely.
Return, reset, and upgrade. Use /outpost for the safe zone, /bunker for your base, then spend progress on bunker unlocks, market activity, farming, and future raids.

Type these in Rust chat. The short aliases do the same thing as the full commands, so use whichever version is fastest for you.

Guide Menu

Open the main Rust Raiders guide with quick travel cards.

Open the deployment panel and choose where to raid next.

Bunker

Return to your personal bunker for storage, upgrades, and safety.

Outpost

Teleport back to the Outpost safe zone.

Bank

Go to the Bank area so you can deposit and protect your money.

Sell Loot

Sell extracted loot through chat or use the Sell NPC in Outpost.

Teams and raid tools

Team System

Manage your squad, invite friends, or leave your current team.

Visit Bunker

Visit a teammate's bunker when team access is available.

Cancel Raid

Cancel a queued deployment directly, or open the raid menu first and use the raid UI cancel flow.

Death Log

Review details from your last five deaths.

Flea Market

Open the player market to buy and sell items when unlocked.

Task Browser

Browse the active task list, preview later objectives, and use the task images exactly as they are defined in your current task file.

Maps & Intel Folder

The Intel Folder is where your monument maps come together. Locked maps stay visible here so you can see what is still ahead.

Bunker Progression

Browse bunker unlocks and view their requirements. Select an unlock to see its requirements, costs, and what it opens next.

Search any item by display name and compare its direct sell value against its current flea market value when one is available.

Bandit Trades

Bandit Trades is a late-game bunker unlock that lets you burn currency for a curated gamble at higher-end components, weapons, or resources. Pick the category you want most, wait out the delivery timer, then come back and claim whatever the bandit rolled for you.

How Bandit Trades works

This bunker unlock opens a separate trade UI on the drop box. You choose Components, Weapons, or Resources, pay the upfront cost, and the server locks in a random delivery immediately. The finished bundle can then be claimed after the timer expires.

Farming

Rust Raiders farming is a bunker-side passive production path. Use the digital planter UI for crops, then branch into the chicken coop, beehive, and eventually Cloud Mining for late-game money farming.

Core farming loop

Digital Planters

Planters are your main bunker crop system. Open the planter UI, pick a recipe, spend the listed seeds, and each slot starts a 6 hour grow cycle. One fertilizer use can be applied per slot and cuts the remaining time in half.

The coop gives you a passive egg source for pie crafting while you are away.

Late-game money farming

Cloud Mining

Cloud Mining rents rig slots for a single payout cycle. Each start consumes USD + 1 Diesel Fuel, then returns a fixed USD payout when the block is ready.

Digital planter guide

Digital Planters

Each unlocked planter slot can grow one recipe at a time. The base grow cycle is 6 hours. One fertilizer use can be applied per slot, and that single use halves the remaining grow time. Planters 2 through Planters 5 each add one more planting slot.

Rig 1 through Rig 10 each unlock another rentable slot. Rigs 1 through 5 run on 4 hour cycles. Rigs 6 through 10 run on 8 hour cycles.
